Dear my host family

Hi, nice to meet you, how have you been? I am good. My name is Takuya. I am 18 years old. My birthday is February 19th. First of all, let me introduce myself. I am from Kagoshima, Japan. There is country side. Not city area but I like. I do not long for city life, because I take life easy in the country. There is the Sakurajima volcano. It is most famous place in my town. When pleasure guest come to Kagoshima, almost people go there although not necessarily. There are eight in my family. Both of my parent, my younger sister, my younger brother, my grandfather, my grandmother and my aunt. I am a university’s student. I am a sophomore now. University name is Kumamoto Gakuen University, KGU for short. I am from Kagoshima, but now I live in Kumamoto, because I really wanted to come to this university. So I live on my own now. It is awesome for me. I can do everything with in the bounds of common sense and I can spend mine free time with friends in my home. But I do not have this mountain of available time. I have part time job. I am a shopper in the Japanese restaurant. It is kind of fun and it also pat someone well. But it is a little busy so I think that I would be content with a lower salary if I was assured of more free time, because free is what I like to best of all. I want to be free as a bird. Of course, I am at the books. To be honest, I do not like study except English, but I think that I have to do everything I can do, because I am a student! My work is to study but I hate it. I like hang out with international students. They are so funny and they also kind of crazy, but I do not care. When I hang out with their, I have to speak English, so my English skill be good and improve. I have joined volunteers for foreigner. Because I can study English and I can talk with native speaker. Best reason is I wanted to find many friends who from not Japanese. They come to here for home stay program for a week. It was so fun.
By the way, I have some question. What are your hobbies? My hobby is do the various sports. When I was child, I took a lot of lessons. For example, baseball, soccer, swimming and Karate, so I like sports. If you like sports, let’s play it! Next, where are the pretty and beautiful places there? I will go to all the way to another country, so I want to go variety of places. If you have free time and you possible, can you show me around or introduce me? I am looking forward it! Do you have some pets? My family has a dog. She is cute. Sometimes pet can do wonders for someone’s mind so I like.
Anyway, I can really hardly wait to see you. I have very great opportunity. It is treasure every encounter, for it will never recur isn’t it? I can not wait. See you soon!
